There is also a commercial version with GPS support. Free Pocket Streets Maps from Microsoft. Map viewing software with optional GPS support. There is a free version which displays US maps which must be purchased.
There are also "Deluxe" and "Pro" versions which have can display 3rd party maps. The "Pro" version supports GPS input. I did tried with several at this point with no luck. If you need any other information from me end just let me know.
Thank you in advance. Quick Reply Subject:. I love my garmin nuvis and maps, but with topos and other Garmin maps their performance is a bit slow. They are often discussed with Igo software installed or to be installed , but I have many Garmin maps that are excellent. Looking around it appears possible to port Garmin maps over, but not at all clear how to or if all the features would work. Web searches seem to reveal a fair amount of speculation or vague comments related to the topic. I would expect traffic would not work, but would the map features routing, etc work and would it be faster than the current generation nuvis?
Would they be expected to perform faster than the nuvis garmin never talks processor speed? Besides shiny screens, what are the pros and cons of these devices? Is anyone aware if any of these pick up the russian satellites in addition?
They seem like an attractive toy to try, but where to start? Some Euro models even pick up digital TV They have video inputs for backup cams, etc Reply With Quote. Are you run ceDesktop. What error message when you failed to run? May I can help Just copy downloadable to root folder 3.
